You feel a great responsibility for developing your creative potentials to derive the greatest benefit from them. You understand that success does not always come easily and that only hard work will produce the results you want. Although your parents may not have been able to give you any financial advantages, you appreciate them for teaching you to rely on yourself. You are not a trailblazer, but depend on traditional means of expression for your ideas. You prefer to exert yourself in fields that hold reasonable promise of security because you do not like to gamble or take unnecessary chances.

Your priorities are directed to achieving material success and distinction. You measure people by the depth of their conversation, whether they are intellectual or superficial. You like to compare your net worth with that of your contemporaries. You want to be thought of as a person who came up the hard way and succeeded in spite of the odds.

You are loyal to those you care for. Although you may not have a wide circle of friends, you keep the ones you have. You are not especially preoccupied with physical pleasures, primarily because you would rather go without if you cannot have exactly what you want. You are not easily turned on by just anybody. Before you allow yourself to indulge in a romantic escapade, you try to learn what credentials a person has. Your indifference to exclusively physical relationships tends to keep people at a distance. You think you deserve no more then the minimal pleasures you now have because you do not really like yourself enough.

Since you are such an isolationist, you deprive yourself of the companionship of people who really appreciate you. You need to show them that you are warmer than you appear and learn to lower the barriers that keep people from warming to you. Others respect you for your stoicism, but they may also criticize you for your inability to relate.

In love, you exude an air of stability and reliability which makes your partner feel that he or she can lean upon you for support. That is a nice image to project, but it may attract partners who are not self-sufficient and whom you may have to support emotionally. You may not want that in a relationship. You are probably not as sexually assertive as some people, but once committed to an encounter, you can sustain a high level of sexual expression. In general, that is not your desire, however. You prefer sex to be a reinforcing expression of friendship and communication rather than a physically gratifying end in itself. For this reason you may not always have as much sexual expression as you would like, because you are quite particular about the circumstances. It is always harder to find something special than to settle for something commonplace or run of the mill. But once you have found a satisfying partner, you are likely to stick to that relationship so that you can explore the in-depth loving you seek. That experience will make you more secure and more self-aware.
